Warren Grad Adams Places Seventh in Decathlon for Slippery Rock at PSAC Championships

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Warren Area High School graduate Kyle Adams placed seventh at the PSAC championships in the decathlon.

The former Dragon standout had 5,513 points in the event, which was captured by teammate Jason Goodman, a Hampton High School alum who won the event for the second time with a score of 6,325.

The Rock was in the mix for the runner-up trophy all day Saturday before running out of steam late in the day. Shippensburg ran away with the team title with 273 points for its 12th straight PSAC title. East Stroudsburg edged The Rock for second with 106.5 points. SRU finished with 91.5 points for third. Edinboro was a distant fourth with 68 points and Seton Hill rounded out the top five with 66 points.
