JAMESTOWN, NY – Warren Area High School defeated Maple Grove Central School, 88-23, in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at Jamestown Community College.
In another match, Ellicottville Central School topped Cassadaga Valley Central School, 74-26.
Conner Zaffino of Warren and Jackson Kruszynski of Ellicottville earned Player of the Match honors.
Warren (2-1) was represented by Zaffino, Hailey Brush, Ben Scott, Grady Corey, Aaron Williams, Macy Winicki, and Jacob Zaffino.
Maple Grove (1-2) team members were Calvin Yeskey, Addison Bryant, Elora Watkins, and Aidan Leonard. The match with Warren eliminates Maple Grove from this year’s competition.
Kruszynski, Skye Wood, Ryan Metzger, Emma Lafferty, Siying Sun, Isabella Wilder competed for Ellicottville (4-1).
The Cassadaga (1-2) team included Anna Burlingame, Cameron Fitzgibbons, Jakob Huling, Alex Khale, Katie Pattison, and Catie Russel. This match eliminated Cassadaga from the competition.
