Sponsored Content: Food Truck Festival Kicks Off Fun-Filled Fourth

WARREN, Pa. – The Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry is ushering in a new event to spice up the 4th of July festivities in Warren County.

The WCCBI Food Truck Festival comes to Betts Park this year and will bring a number of food and craft vendors with it. The event opens Friday, July 2 and will coincide with other celebrations, including the 4th of July parade on Saturday, July 3 and the Sunday Spectacular Fireworks Show on Sunday, July 4.

At least a dozen different food trucks will be on hand during the entire weekend festivities, including Apthorp’s Concessions, Taylor’s Treats n’ Eatz, Brokenstraw Valley Winery, LLC, Ramcor, Girianni BBQ, Fowler’s Taffy, Bite by the Bay, Sweet Sarah’s Kettle Korn, Taylor’s DOUGHBOY, Marotta’s Snack Shack, Tabouli, and White Cane Coffee Company.

Craft vendors including Schooners Gifts and General Store, Josie’s Jewelry, Giftwise and Lovebug Lotion, Allegheny Mountain Beard Products, Deviations, Paparazzi by Tina Best, Al’s Unique Patio Fountains, and more will be at Betts Park throughout the weekend as well.

The family-friendly event includes fun activities for all ages and a musical act each evening. The Warren County YMCA will provide a kids bounce house and the Brokenstraw Valley Winery is sponsoring axe throwing each day.

Festivities at Betts Park will open Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. with food and craft vendors, with axe throwing from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily and the kids bounce house open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and kids games available from 3 – 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The musical group Smokehouse will close out Friday with a performance from 7 – 10 p.m.

The pre-parade show will begin Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at General Joseph Warren Park. The parade starts at 11 a.m. and will follow the same route as previous years (Carver Street onto PA Avenue to end at St. Joe’s School). Saturday’s music at Betts Park will feature the country group 62 South from 7 – 10 p.m.

A Cutest Baby Contest will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Superheroes at the Park at 2:30. The Dirty Blues Band will be on stage from 3 – 5 p.m. and the Molly Dies Dance Unlimited company will perform at 4 p.m. The Kinzua Country All-Stars will begin their set at 7 p.m. and take everyone into the Sunday Spectacular Fireworks Show at 10 p.m.
