Andy CloseRichard A. Walters, 82, of Warren, PA, died Saturday, June 26, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA, after a short illness.
“Dick” was born in Warren on March 26, 1939, the son of Henry R. Walters and Jane M. Grundberg Walters, who preceded him in death. He attended the Warren Area High School and St. Bonaventure University. He was a life-long resident of Warren and a devoted member of Holy Redeemer Church. He loved everyone and everyone loved him.
Richard is survived by his sister, Kathleen Jaynes (John), and his sister, Joy Wiedmaier and her fiancé Richard Thoma, and many nieces and nephews who loved their uncle very much.
Friends may call at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, PA, on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 10am until 11am, at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted with Fr. Stephen Schreiber, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
