PA 4-H Week Celebration Under Way

March 15, 2021

The Pennsylvania 4-H Week celebration kicked off across the state on March 14 and will run through March 20.

The Warren County 4-H program offers fifteen clubs for youth to get involved. Each 4-H club instills the importance of Head, Heart, Hands and Health through participation in the program.

The 4-H program prides itself on emphasizing learn-by-doing. The Warren County 4-H program supports project skills such as animal science, leadership, robotics, shooting sports, and more. Warren County clubs pride themselves on community service and being active participants in their community. Members are encouraged to try new projects and activities in 4-H.

This year for Pennsylvania 4-H Week, the Warren County 4-H program has highlighted some of the past and present members with photos. See the photos and captions to find out what the past or present members are doing now.

For more details on the upcoming 4-H club meetings and activities, contact Jennifer Grooms at 814-563-9388. Thank you to the volunteers, families, and members that makes the 4-H program an opportunity for growth and maturity in Pennsylvania. Administered in Pennsylvania by Penn State Extension, 4-H is a non-formal educational youth-development program of the United States Department of Agriculture that helps young people develop knowledge and skills to become capable, caring and contributing citizens.
