RUSSELL, Pa. – Freshman Austin Hanson scored a career-high 27 points to power Eisenhower to a 51-41 win over Saegertown.

Rewatch the game:

Eisenhower (9-2 overall, 2-0 Region 3) went on a 16-8 run in the second quarter to take a 26-14 halftime advantage.

Hanson hit a pair of 3’s in the quarter and scored 11 of Eisenhower’s 16 points in the frame on his way to Allegheny Grille of Foxburg Player of the Game honors.

“We played hard straight out of the gate,” Hanson said during the Cole Orthodontic Associates postgame interview. “We jumped out to a pretty big lead early and that helped our momentum. We always want to come out strong.”
