ERIE, Pa. – Eisenhower freshman Austin Hanson was voted Region 3 boys’ basketball Player of the Year, while Warren had three Region 6 all-star selections.
Warren, which won its first District 10 title since 1983, had Brady Berdine and Tommy Nyquist honored on the first team, while Braylon Barnes was a second team choice.
Hanson helped lead Eisenhower to a District 10 third-place finish and their first state playoff win in program history. He was joined on the first team by teammate Kyler Black.
Youngsville’s Rylan Benton and Nate Lucks were second team choices.
The region all-stars are voted on by region coaches.
