Dragons Drop Tough Battle With Corry

CORRY, Pa. – Corry put up four runs in the first inning en route to a 5-2 win over Warren.

Jon Albers had an RBI double in the first inning for Corry, with the other runs scoring on two errors and a wild pitch.

Karson Chamberlin finished with three hits and two runs for Corry, while Albers had two hits and two RBIs.

Albers went five innings to get the win, allowing two runs (one earned), allowing four hits, striking out 10, and walking five. Zach Martin had two scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts.

Brady Berdine pitched well in the loss for Warren, allowing five runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out eight without issuing a walk.

Konnor Hoffman and Owen Blum had two hits each for Warren.
