WARREN, Pa. – Mason Walker fired a 1-hitter as Meadville won a 2-0 pitchers duel over Warren.
Walker struck out six and walked three and needed just 75 pitches.
The Bulldogs struck for single runs in the fifth and seventh inning when Brighton Anderson scored on a double steal and in the seventh, Owen Garvey had an RBI single.
Brady Berdine pitched well in the loss for Warren, going 5 ⅔ innings and allowing one unearned run. Berdine scattered five hits, struck out eight, and walked six.
Rocco Tartaglione and Mason Walker had two hits each for Meadville.
