COCHRANTON, Pa. – Cochranton scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break an 11-11 tie in a 13-11 win over Eisenhower.
Jack Rynd’s RBI single broke the tie and the Cardinals scored an additional run on an error.
Cochranton led 11-5, but Eisenhower came storming back to tie the game with five runs in the sixth inning.
Rynd homered, part of a 3-for-4 effort that included five RBIs and three runs. Also for the Cardinals, Walker Carroll was 1-for-4 with two RBIs.
Eisenhower committed eight errors in the game and Cochranton seven.
Derek Childs was 1-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for Eisenhower, while Shawn Pascuzzi was 1-for-4 with two RBIs, Kael Hunt was 1-for-3 with three RBIs and Camron Jakubczak scored three runs.
