Youngsville Offense Keeps Rolling in win over Union City; Warren Falls to Fort LeBoeuf

UNION CITY, Pa. – Youngsville scored in all but one inning, rolling to a 12-5 win over Union City.

Nate Lucks was one of several Eagles with a big day at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs. Also for Youngsville, James Johnson was 2-for-4 with three runs and an RBi, while Matt DeSimone was 2-for-3 with four runs and an RBI, Talon Mesel 2-for-4 with three RBIs, and Ethan Senz 2-for-4 with an RBI.

The Eagles broke the game open with four runs in the seventh.

Lucks went four innings to get the win, allowing two runs on six hits, striking out four, and walking two.

Miles McCaslin took the loss, allowing six runs (five earned) in five innings, scattering seven hits and striking out six.

Quinlan Magee was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Union City.

FORT LEBOEUF 8, WARREN 1

WATERFORD, Pa. – Patrick Crawford tossed five strong innings as Fort LeBoeuf beat Warren, 8-1.

Craft allowed two hits and one run, striking out three and walking two.

Ryan Welka went 1-for-2 with an RBI and four runs for the Bison, while Ethan Wilcox and Dan Caldwell had one RBI each. LeBoeuf also took advantage of 10 walks issued by Dragon pitching as well as four errors.

Brady Berdine took the loss, allowing four runs (two earned) in three innings, allowing two hits, striking out six, and walking five.

Ben Sowa had two hits for Warren, while Eric Dippold drove in a run.
