Eagles, Knights Fall in Friday Baseball Action

GUYS MILLS, Pa. – Maplewood scored six runs in the third inning and, leading 7-5, scored seven in the sixth to pull away for a 14-6 win over Youngsville.

Levi Willison had a big day at the plate for Maplewood, going 2-for-4 with four RBIs, while Landyn Reynolds was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Paul Hirosky 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Reynolds got the win, allowing three runs (two earned) in four innings on two hits, striking out three and walking six.

Nathan Lucks hit a 2-run home run for Youngsville, while Talon Mesel was 2-for-2 with three RBIs.

Lucks took the loss, allowing seven runs (four earned) in four innings on five hits, striking out four.

SAEGERTOWN 15, EISENHOWER 5, 5 innings

SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – Saegertown scored 12 runs in the fourth inning of a 15-5, 5-inning win over Eisenhower.

Blake Leslie led a strong offensive attack for Saegertown with three RBIs, while Wyatt Burchill was 2-for-3 with a double, triple, and two RBIs, Damarcus Manning 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and three runs scored, William Shaffer 1-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs, Levi Gardner 1-for-1 with two RBIs and Torre Mosbacher 1-for-4 with two RBIs.

Everett Gardner got the win, allowing two earned runs in two innings on three hits, striking out one.

Cole Kellogg, Camron Jakubczak and Shawn Pascuzzi had one RBI each for Eisenhower.
