Wotorson Gets 30th, Lady Dragons Blank Titusville

WARREN, Pa. – Kyra Wotorson reached the 30-goal mark and the Warren girls soccer team pitched another shutout with a 14-0 win over visiting Titusville Wednesday.

Wotorson’s second goal of the first half gave her an even 30 for the season, and was part of a 10-goal first half outburst for the Dragons. Defensively, Warren (15-0) picked up its 14th shutout in 15 matches.

Seven different players registered a goal in the match. Kyleigh Wilson, who picked up her 40th goal of the year Monday, scored five goals against the Rockets. Wotorson, Ella Ordiway and Georgie Bickling each had a pair. Paige Johnson, Sydney Rex and Lydia Balas all scored as well.

Wotorson had seven assists to go along with her two goals, while Wilson had five helpers and Bickling two.

Alyssa Andersen picked up the shutout in net.

Warren closes out the regular season Saturday against Meadville at War Memorial Field, before squaring off with the Bulldogs again Nov. 3 for the District 10 Class 3A title. Kickoff for Saturday’s match is set for 11 a.m.
