Eagles Keep Rolling With Win Over Rocky Grove; Dragons Drop Tight Battle With Corry

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – David Manning was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs as Youngsville picked up its 13th win of the season, 7-3 over Rocky Grove.

Cole Johnson was 2-for-2 with two RBIs for the Eagles, while Wyatt Dalrymple was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Dalrymple got the complete game win, scattering seven hits and allowing two earned runs, striking out four and walking one.

Eli Wilson was 1-for-3 with two RBIs for Rocky Grove, while Landon Jones had three hits and scored a run. Jones took the loss, allowing seven runs in 5 ⅓ innings on eight hits, striking out four.

CORRY 4, WARREN 2

WARREN, Pa. – Corry scored four runs in the second inning in a 4-2 win over Warren.

Corry’s four runs came after Warren had scored a pair in the first. Wesley Kurelowech was 1-for-3 with an RBI as Corry took advantage of a couple of Warren miscues in the second.

Hunter Jordan went four innings for Corry, allowing two unearned runs on three hits, striking out one and walking two. Karson Chamberlin tossed three hitless innings of relief.

Carter Cochran and Aidan Zdarko each drove in a run for Warren. Brady Berdine was sharp on the mound in the loss, allowing four unearned runs on five hits, striking out 11 and walking one.
