WARREN, Pa. – Wesley Wilcox hit a pair of inside-the-park home runs to help American Legion Post 658 to a 7-5 win over WCCBI in Boys’ Majors action Tuesday.
Wilcox’s homers were part of a 3-hit game. He also combined with Brayden Frank to handle pitching duties.
For WCCBI, Broc Bryan went 3 for 4 at the plate with two triples and struck out 12. Colin Havers went 2 for 4 with a triple and Heath Genis led his team from the mound.
WARREN MOOSE 2, GROUND ZERO 2
Warren Moose and Ground Zero played to a 2-2 tie in Boys’ Minors action on Monday.
For Warren Moose, Ty Bryan hit a double and struck out 6. Hunter Ingerson had a nice hit and struck out 6. Noah Pape had a nice hit. Reed Fitzgerald also lead his team from the mound striking out 5.
For Ground Zero Jaret Lang had a nice hit and struck out 3. Keegan Weissinger had a nice hit and struck out 8. Trae Craddock had a nice hit and struck out 3.
