Andy CloseWARREN, Pa. – Warren earned a pair of track and field wins over county foe Youngsville on Tuesday, 129-21 on the girls’ side and 91-55 in the boys’ meet.
For the girls, Lindsay Madigan won the 100, triple jump, and long jump for the Dragons, while Ellie Yeager won the 100 and 300 hurdles, Lilly Newton the 800 and high jump, and Shyann Rulander the 1600 and 3200.
Warren’s Ethan Best won the 110 and 300 hurdles for the boys, while Corban Reinard won the 400 and 800, and Sam Lindell the 1600 and 3200.
For the Youngsville boys, Blake Myers won the triple jump and long jump.
“We had a good day coming away with a pair of wins against a good Youngsville team,” said Warren coach Kevin Dustin. “We had some performances that pushed some of our runners and throwers to new levels and achieved goals they have been working toward all year. I’m glad to see the progress these kids are making and all their hard work paying off. We are looking forward to competing in and hosting the Warren County Meet on Thursday.”
