Warren Tire Center Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Wednesday

November 16, 2022

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Warren County beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 16).

The advisory runs until 7 p.m. Thursday. Lake Effect snow is expected, with snow accumulations ranging from three to six inches.

“Maximum snowfall is expected in the northwest portion of the county,” the NWS said. “Most of the snow accumulation is expected this (Wednesday) evening into Thursday morning. Lake effect snow showers will continue into Thursday night with additional light snow accumulation expected.”

The NWS advised motorists to plan on slippery road conditions, with a potential impact on both the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.

“The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts will include snow-covered roads and limited visibility in some areas,” the advisory said.
