Local Businesses, Organizations Team for Food Drive

November 16, 2022

WARREN, Pa. – Northwest Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania, and Erie News Now are working together to raise donations of food and money to benefit local residents in need across Warren County.

The fundraiser is active now and will run until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Donations of non-perishable food items such as canned and boxed goods and frozen turkeys will be accepted.

“Over the years, Northwest has helped raise money and collect thousands of pounds of food—all of which has benefited local agencies and stayed within Warren County. In light of COVID-19 and the financial difficulties that many families may be facing, these donations will be more important than ever,” event spokesperson, and Jackson Run Road Northwest branch manager Krista Fitzsimmons said.

People can drop off cash and food donations on Liberty Street between Pennsylvania and Second Avenues. Non-perishable or monetary donations can also be dropped off at any Northwest office in Warren or Youngsville.

Donations will benefit the First Church of the Nazarene Food Pantry, St. Joseph Church, Sheffield Area Food Pantry, and the Youngsville Evangelical United Methodist Church.
