Warren Tire Center Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Warren County

December 31, 2020

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Warren County beginning at 10 a.m. Friday.

The advisory runs until 1 a.m. Saturday. A mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will begin Friday morning and continue through Friday night. Up to a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation is expected.

Slippery roads and reduced visibility are possible, with the conditions potentially impacting the evening commute. Scattered power outages and tree damage could occur due to the ice accumulation.

“The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts will include snow-covered roads and limited visibility in some areas,” the advisory said.
