RUSSELL, Pa. – Warren County School District athletics will resume on Monday.
With Gov. Tom Wolf’s mitigation orders set to expire on Monday at 8 a.m., WCSD Supervisor of District-Wide Athletics and Co-Curricular Activities Rick Gignac confirmed that practices may resume on Monday after school.
Region contests will take priority over non-region games in terms of scheduling for the remainder of the winter season in varsity sports for the three District 10 high schools in Warren County – Warren, Eisenhower and Youngsville.
District 10 Revises Region Schedules
All region dates missed through Jan. 7 for basketball, swimming and wrestling were rescheduled by District 10, and any other region games that may be missed after Jan. 8 should be made up.
Region matchups will take priority over non-region play.
The last day for region makeups will be March 2 for basketball, Feb. 10 for wrestling and Feb. 22 for swimming.
