STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Warren County beginning at 1 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
UPDATE: The Watch has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning.
The advisory runs until 8 a.m. on Monday. Heavy lake effect snow with accumulations in excess of six inches is expected. Wind gusts as high as 45 mph are possible.
“The heaviest snow totals are possible in northwestern portions of Warren County,” the NWS said. “South and east of Youngsville, PA lower snow totals are possible.”
Slippery, snow-covered roads and limited visibility could impact travel Monday.
“Strong winds may result in blowing snow with reduced visibility and drifting,” the advisory said.
