Warren Tire Center Wind Advisory Issued for Warren, McKean Counties Wednesday

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Wind Advisory for Warren and McKean Counties until 6 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 30).

Southwest winds of 15 – 25 mph are expected, with gusts up to 50 mph. Winds are expected to shift from southwest to west throughout the afternoon.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the NWS said. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”

The strongest winds are expected along ridge tops and in the gaps of the ridges and are expected to occur through the late morning and early afternoon.

“Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle (and) secure outdoor objects,” the advisory said.
