November 30, 2022

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Warren County beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 30).

The advisory runs until noon on Thursday. Lake Effect snow is expected, with snow accumulations of up to three inches expected.

“Maximum snowfall is expected in the northwest portion of the county,” the NWS said. “West winds could gust between 35 – 45 mph.”

The NWS advised motorists to plan on slippery road conditions, with a potential impact on both the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.

“The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts will include snow-covered roads and limited visibility in some areas,” the advisory said.
