Warren, Fredonia Earn High School Bowl Wins

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Warren Area High School topped Chautauqua Lake Central School 92-29 in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at SUNY Jamestown Community College.

Warren improved to 5-1, moving to the loser’s bracket championship. Chautauqua Lake was eliminated with its second loss.

In another match, Fredonia Central School defeated Frewsburg Central School 75-61.

The victory advanced Fredonia (4-0) into the winner’s bracket championship match. Frewsburg (4-1) also remained alive in the tournament.

Earning Player of the Match honors were Ray Dai of Fredonia and Kaden Kelly-Pojar of Warren.

Kelly-Pojar, Lydia Balas, Hailey Brush, Ruby Alburger, Ashley Plank, and Jadzia Johnson competed for Warren.

Chautauqua Lake’s team members were Jonah Reyda, Lincoln Smith, Nathan Henry, and Dayne Jantzi.

Fredonia was represented by Dai, Rebecca Lash, Abby Lauer, Jacob Sullivan, and Matt Schrantz.

Frewsburg’s team was made up of Xander Pitts, Jacob Sears, Erich Thompson, Kelson Laska, Ella Fuller, Grace Gilevski, and Claire Speilman.
