WARREN, Pa. – It was a rough opener for the Warren Boys’ Minors all-stars, as they fell 25-1 in four innings to DuBois.
DuBois scored all but three of its runs over the final two innings.
Warren scored its lone run of the game in the second inning when Luke Baxter drew a leadoff walk and came around to score on an error on a ground ball hit by Case Neall.
Reed Fitzgerald singled and reached on an error for Warren and also pitched the first two innings, striking out four.
Warren will play in a loser’s bracket game on Saturday against either Punxsutawney or St. Marys.
