WARREN, Pa. – The 3rd Annual V Strong Golf Scramble will be held at Jackson Valley Golf Club on Saturday, Aug. 14.
The golf scramble benefits the V Strong Memorial Fund, a 501c3 non-profit created to honor the memory of Vinnie Massa.
For just $65, participants will get 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch and a chance to win prizes.
There’s an opportunity for businesses to help with the event by being a sponsor or donating a gift certificate or raffle item. Sponsorships will include the following publicity::
- Signage on the golf course during the event (for monetary sponsors only)
- Business name placement on a billboard located in the dining area on the day of the event
- Promotion on the event Facebook page
- Any business cards and/or pamphlets can be placed at the event
Vinnie was a lifelong resident of Warren and served the community as an assistant to the Superintendent for the Warren public works department for 20 years. He enjoyed life to its fullest so the scramble seemed like the best way to bring the community together to enjoy a day of golf and good food while giving back to the community he loved.
Proceeds from the scramble benefit the V Strong Memorial Fund, a 501c3 non-profit organization that donates to local organizations, including the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House of Warren County and the Cancer Center of Warren County.
The fund also helps local families who are suffering from cancer and assists in providing college funds (529 plans) for Vinnie’s daughters.
