YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Youngsville built an 8-0 lead after two innings on its way to an 8-0, five-inning win over Eisenhower, their second win over the Knights this season.
Nate Lucks, Talon Mesel, and Matt DeSimone all had a big hand in helping the Eagles build their big early lead. All three doubled, with Lucks going 2-for-3 with three RBIs, while Mesel was 1-for-3 with two RBIs, and DeSimone was 2-for-3 with three runs.
Wyatt Dalrymple, Ethan Senz, and Lane Buccardo also had one RBI each for the Eagles.
Lucks was dominant on the mound, tossing 4 ⅔ shutout innings, allowing just two hits and one walk while striking out eight.
