In the blink of an eye, however, Warren’s Riley Childress took over.

Childress scored seven points in a span of just over two minutes to break open an 8-7 game in the second quarter and the Lady Dragons cruised from there to a 50-14 win, improving to 6-1 in the process.

Childress scored a game-high 18 points for Warren and played her usual stellar defense. She talked about the win afterward:

Emma Ruhlman had 14 points for Warren, 11 of which came in the second half, while Cara Munksgard played strong defense in her first varsity start.

Childress dished out five assists to go along with her 18 points, while Emma Ruhlman had eight rebounds, Gracie Ruhlman and Sammie Ruhlman five points apiece, and Tegan Paris and Halle Kuzminski four points each.

Warren outscored Corry 17-2 in the third quarter to take complete control.
