Lady Dragons Get Defensive in Region 5 Road Win Over Franklin

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Sammie Ruhlman scored 20 points to lead Warren to a 39-27 Region 5 win over Franklin.

The Dragons (13-4 overall, 6-0 Region 5) went on an 11-2 run in the second quarter to take a 26-12 halftime lead.

Ruhlman scored 14 of her points in the first half, including a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter.

Alyssa Farr and Alana Stuart scored five points each for Warren.

Katie Boal had 16 points for Franklin (11-7, 3-3), while Kiersten Hicks added seven.
