SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – In a battle for the top spot in Region 3, Saegertown’s Luke Young knocked down a free-throw with .7 seconds remaining to lift the Panthers to a 53-52 win over Eisenhower.
The game was tied at 52, and after his initial shot was no good, Young got his own miss and was fouled with .7 seconds to go.

Saegertown (13-5 overall, 8-1 Region 3) led 41-39 going to the fourth quarter, with Eisenhower (13-4, 5-2) rallying to take the lead before the Panthers countered.
Eisenhower’s Kyler Back scored five of his 19 points in the fourth quarter before the Saegertown dramatics.
Cody Huson led three Saegertown players in double figures with 18 points, while Jackson Scott and Colin Jones had 13 each.
Austin Hansen netted 17 points for Eisenhower and Maysen Wonderling 10.
UNION CITY 58, YOUNGSVILLE 47
UNION CITY, Pa. – Union City outscored Youngsville 21-11 in the fourth quarter to pull away for its third win of the season, 58-47.
Trent Parkhurst scored seven points over the final eight minutes to lead the charge for the Bears (3-15 overall, 1-7 Region 3).
Parkhurst scored 10 points, one of three Union City players in double figures. Elijah Troyer and Trevin Capela netted 11 points apiece.
Carson Chase knocked down seven 3-pointers (four in the third quarter) and finished with 23 points for Youngsville (8-10, 3-5), while Rylan Benton added 12 points.
