BROCKWAY, Pa. – Up just five at halftime, Brockway used an 18-point third quarter to pull away from visiting Forest Area, 48-31.
The Lady Rovers led 19-14 at the break but used seven points from Sophia Morrison in the third quarter to nearly double their points total while taking a 37-26 lead into the fourth quarter.
Morrison finished with a career-best 13 points for Brockway with Kalina Powell adding 11 points and six steals. Raegan Gelnette contributed five points, 10 rebounds, and nine steals in the victory, and Sophia Schmader had three points, 16 rebounds, six assists, and five steals.
Jayden Colvin paced Forest Area with 15 points with Amber Guzzi adding nine points, and Kaylie Rooke chipping in four points, 11 rebounds, and six blocked shots. .
