BROCKWAY, Pa. – Turning around a 27-point loss back on Dec. 18, Forest Area picked up a 61-50 win at Brockway.
The Fires (4-14) had their second-highest scoring output of the season thanks to a monster triple-double by Colton Kuntz, who had 22 points, 21 rebounds, and 12 blocked shots.
Warren Dashner and Daniel Custer each added 10 points and six rebounds in the win with Custer also coming up with two steals and Dashner with three.
Also for Forest Area, Warren Dashner added 10 points, six rebounds, and three steals.
Reese Yahner led Brockway (1-14) with 11 points with Caleb Daugherty adding nine points.
At West Forest in December, Brockway beat Forest Area, 66-39.
ST. MARYS 69, SHEFFIELD 51
SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Putting four players in double digits, visiting St. Marys beat Sheffield, 69-51, in AML action.
Ben Paul led the Dutch (7-9 overall, 6-3 AML South) with 18 points with Matt Davis adding 17.
Louie Nedzinski chipped in 12 points and Anthony Nedzinksi contributed 11 points.
Leihden Wotorson scored 18 points for Sheffield (5-12, 0-6) with Dylan Hardwick adding 11 and Allen Eaton chipped in 10 points.
SAEGERTOWN 57, YOUNGSVILLE 37
SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – Cody Huson scored 18 points as Saegertown kept pace atop the Region 3 standings with a 57-37 win over Youngsville.
Saegertown (11-5 overall, 6-1 Region 3) led 25-21 at halftime and outscored Youngsville 18-6 in the fourth quarter to pull away.
Jackson Scott was also in double figures for the Panthers with 13 points, while Luke Young added eight.
Carson Chase had 16 points and Nathan Lucks 10 for Youngsville (8-8, 3-3).
