Andy CloseCOCHRANTON, Pa. – Regann McClain’s 2-run home run keyed a 6-run fifth inning in Cochranton’s 9-2 win over Eisenhower.
McClain drove in three runs, while Raley Sokol was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, Chelsea Freyermuth was 2-for-2 with an RBI, and Claire McCartney was 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.
Brooklyn Needler got the win, allowing 11 hits, walking four, and striking out nine.
Payton Frank had the lone RBI for Eisenhower, while Alex Pascuzzi was 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored, Kailee Morrison had three hits and Julia Gesing had a pair of hits.
Emilie Jones took the loss, allowing nine runs on 15 hits while striking out one.
