Lady Dragons Split Doubleheader With Girard; Eisenhower Falls to Jamestown

GIRARD, Pa. – Warren and Girard split a doubleheader, with the Dragons winning 14-0 in five innings and the Yellow Jackets 17-2 in three innings.

In the Game 1 win for Warren, Alana Warrior was 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs, while Alana Stuart was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs, Malysia Sorenson 1-for-2 with two RBIs and Natasha Ferry 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI.

Stuart got the win, allowing just two hits in five innings, striking out 15 and walking one.

In the Game 2 win for Girard, Laurel Brink was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs, while five different Yellow Jackets had one RBI each. Girard took advantage of seven errors and 10 walks issued by Dragon pitching.

Madison Chaffee got the win, allowing one earned run in three innings on three hits, striking out three.

JAMESTOWN 13, EISENHOWER 2, 5 innings

JAMESTOWN, Pa. – Miranda Biles was 3-for-4 with a double and five RBIs as Jamestown beat Eisenhower, 13-2 in five innings.

Biles also got the win, allowing two runs on six hits in five innings, striking out 10.

Madilyn Enterline was 3-for-4 for the Muskies with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Kendra Danielson was 1-for-2 with two RBIs for Eisenhower, while Payton Frank was 2-for-3 with a double. Sam Childs took the loss, allowing nine earned runs in four innings on 10 hits, striking out one.
