Eisenhower Jumps Out to Early Lead But Can’t Hold on Against Iroquois

RUSSELL, Pa. – Joey Doverspike drove in a pair of runs as Iroquois rallied from an early 5-2 deficit to beat Eisenhower, 9-6.

The Braves responded quickly scoring four runs in the second inning.

Reilly Brown was 1-for-5 with an RBI, while Ben Burkhardt was 2-for-3 with three runs and Cole Bennett was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.

Brown tossed three shutout inning in relief, allowing just one hit and striking out four.

Jarius Casey was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Eisenhower, while Derek Childs, Kael Hunt and Garrett Jensen had one RBI each.

Camron Jakubczak took the loss, allowing three runs in four innings on six hits, striking out one and walking one.
