Eisenhower Grad, Allegheny College Standout Giannini Nabs PAC Weekly Award

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Eisenhower grad Lydia Giannini was named Presidents’ College Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at the SPIRE Collegiate Indoor games.

Giannini’s performance in the weight throw at the SPIRE Collegiate Indoor Games also put the senior atop the charts in the PAC. The fourth-year thrower posted her best mark of the season at 14.29 meters, which was good enough for 16th overall and first among Division III competitors in the weight throw.

Her teammate, Mihaela Toader was named PAC Track Athlete of the Week.
