Eisenhower Girls Roll Past Iroquois; Forest Area Edges Clarion-Limestone; Youngsville Falls to UC

RUSSELL, Pa. – Clara Steinberg had 27 points to help Eisenhower to a 64-30 win over Iroquois.

Steinberg had a strong overall game for the Knights (9-10, 5-7) with seven steals and six assists.

Lainey Font had 16 points for Eisenhower while also collecting nine steals.

Karina Reichard paced Iroquois (0-20, 0-12) with 12 points.

FOREST AREA 57, CLARION-LIMESTONE 52

MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Building a 13-point halftime lead, Forest Area held on for a 57-52 KSAC win over Clarion-Limestone at East Forest.

Amber Guzzi led the Fires (8-13 overall, 2-7 KSAC) with 18 points and three steals with Jayden Colvin adding 16 points and four steals, and Kaylie Rooke chipping in nine points, 13 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots.

Freshman Hannah Beggs had her first career 20-point game with 21 for C-L (6-15, 2-7) with Julianna Schwabenbauer adding 16 points.

UNION CITY 51, YOUNGSVILLE 20

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Ten different Union City players scored in a 51-20 Region 2 win over Youngsville.

Cathryn Reynolds led the way for Union City (9-11 overall, 6-4 Region 2) with 12 points, while Brooke VanTassel netted 10.

Zaylee Cressley had 12 points and Molly Helman eight for Youngsville (6-14, 1-9).
