UNION CITY, Pa. – A seven-run second inning helped lift Union City to a 14-7 win over Eisenhower.
Matthew Bennett had a big day at the plate for the Bears, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs, while Miles McCaslin was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs and Bryce Drayer 3-for-4 with three runs and Trevin Capela drove in a pair.
McCaslin got the win, allowing six runs (four earned) in six innings, surreduring five hits and striking out five.
Garrett Jensen led Eisenhower at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBIs.
Cole Chapman took the loss, allowing 11 runs (six earned) in four innings, allowing 10 hits and striking out four.
