The Lady Dragons’ 4×1 relay team also took first with a time of 52.19 (Brookville was second at 52.89), while Shyann Rulander and Morgan Alexander went 2-3 in both the 1600 and 3200. Laney Gatto was second in the pole vault, Newton was third in the high jump and Lindsay Madigan fourth in the 100

For the boys, Ethan Best led the way, finishing second in both the 110 and 300 hurdles.

“We had a great day,” said Warren coach Kevin Dustin. “The kids took home plenty of hardware and personal/season bests. We were really proud of how the team competed and it’s great to see everyone improving and heading in the right direction. We have a really good idea of where our strengths lay and we’re looking to continue to develop throughout the rest of the regular season to accomplish some great things in the region and at districts.”
