Dragons Drop Back-and-Forth Affair With Corry

COLUMBUS, Pa. – Max Rimdzius’ two-run single in the bottom of the sixth broke a 6-6 tie and lifted Corry to an 8-6 win over Warren.

Corry took a 6-1 lead, but Warren rallied, tying the game at 6 in the top of the sixth on Konner Hoffman’s 2-run single.

Rimdzius drove in three runs for the Beavers, while, Nick Brundage had two RBI and scored a pair of runs and John Albers and Nathan Lesher had an RBI each.

Albers was credited with the win. He allowed two runs in two innings on three hits and two walks, striking out a pair.

Corry also took advantage of four Warren errors.

The 7-8-9 hitters in Warren’s lineup – Paul Smith, Anthony Erret, and Hoffman combined to go 8-for-10 with five RBI and a pair of runs.

Archie Teconchuk took the loss for Warren, allowing six runs (one earned) in two innings, allowing one hit and seven walks, striking out three.
