WARREN, Pa. – Ron and Cindy Ecklund were presented with a $2,000 reward from the Warren County Crimestoppers for their tip that led to the apprehension of Michael Burham, aided by their chocolate lab Tucker, and soon more money is expected to be on the way.
The US Marshals Service, Western District office confirmed to Your Daily Local that they will pay their reward of $10,000 to the Ecklunds.
Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers also offered a $10,000 reward, and the Marshals said they would help “work with them” to help recoup that reward as well.
Upon seeing Burham, Tucker ran towards the woods, where the Ecklunds spoke briefly to him before going back to their house to call 911 on Saturday, ultimately leading to Burham’s apprehension.
