WARREN, Pa. – An additional Caregiver’s Support Group is being offered on the first Thursday of the month beginning Thursday, May 5, at Grace United Methodist Church at 6 p.m.
The noontime meeting, held on the third Monday of the month, has been well-received and this additional group allows for more flexible scheduling for those needing a later meeting time. The format of the meeting will be very similar to the noontime group and will include information about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
It is open to any caregivers in the area, as well as those interested in learning more about these diseases, and educational programs being held locally. Time will be allowed for sharing of concerns, questions, and suggestions for topics for future meetings. Many informational books and materials are available.
