Blum, Berdine Help Lead Dragons Past General McLane

WARREN, Pa. – Brady Berdine allowed just one hit over 5 ⅔ innings and J.T. Blum went 4-for-4 as Warren earned a 7-3 win over General McLane.

Berdine allowed two earned runs, striking out seven and walking six.

Blum, meanwhile, had two RBIs and two runs as the Dragons took a 4-1 lead with three runs in the second inning. In that frame, Blum had an RBI single, Eric Dippold drew a bases-loaded walk and Owen Blum was the recipient of a catcher’s interference call with the bases loaded.

Eric Dippold had an RBI double for Warren in the sixth inning and J.T. Blum added his second RBI single of the game. Anthony Errett also had a pair of hits for Warren.

Carson Farr came on in relief of Berdine, allowing one run in 1 ⅓ innings, allowing two hits, and striking out one.

Ross Morrow took the loss for GM, allowing four runs (one earned) in two innings, allowing five hits, walking two, and striking out three.

Isaac Kennedy and Charlie Swanson drove in a run each for the Lancers.
