OIL CITY, Pa. – Mitch Bawden scored a career-high 27 points, as Forest Area beat Venango Catholic for the third time this season, 67-40, in the KSAC matchup between the teams at VC.
Bawden added seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals to his big night.
Keyon Custer chipped in 15 points and six assists for the Fires (3-8 overall, 1-4 KSAC) while Cloton Kuntz added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Warren Dashner had a monster night on the boards for Forest Area with 19 rebounds while adding three steals and two points.
Konner Beichner had 16 points for Venango Catholic (0-9, 0-4) while Kyle Beichner added 11 points and Christian Kluck scored nine on three 3-pointers.
