2021-22 Highlights: Team defensive rookie of the year with 86 steals for the 12-5 Dragons; starting defender as a freshman on a program with an amazing tradition; proud to play a role.

Q&A

Q: What was the first sport you played? Why did you play it? Did you like it?
A: YMCA soccer, my parents signed me up and I am glad they did because I really liked it. 

Q: What is the most important factor in you being successful in high school athletics?
A: I put the team first in all situations 

Q: What is your favorite non-sports “go-to” activity?
A: Video games. 

Q: You could meet one sports figure, living or dead (1) who would it be and (2) what is the first thing you would ask them?
A: I would meet Klay Thompson and I would ask him what was going through his head when he scored 37 points in a single quarter.

Q: What is your favorite sport and if you could change one thing about your favorite sport, what would it be?
A: My favorite sport is basketball and I wouldn’t change anything about it.

Q: If you could eat any food in the world right now, what would it be?
A: Chicken wings.

Q: What is your ideal vacation spot?
A: In the Outer Banks (Duck, N.C.) at the beach.

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: I wish you would have asked me if my dad sucks at basketball because, if you did, I would’ve said yes! 😊
