Q&A

Q: What was the first sport you played? Why did you play it? Did you like it?
A: The first sport I played was basketball. I played it because my mom was coaching and I was always around it. I was about 5 years old, maybe younger. She would bring us to practices and my sisters and I would play games on the sideline or in the locker room. Usually, Sammie and I would play our own passing game or something, then there was always Emma on the other side of the court doing ball-handling drills. At the age of like 6. I’ve always enjoyed the game and being a part of a team.

Q: What is the most important factor in you being successful in high school athletics?
A: most important factor is different for everyone, but for me, it’s making sure all of my school work is done before I get home so I don’t have much to stress about. Having motivation and energy is a huge factor that I sometimes lack, I do things to make sure I have energy and motivation, especially before games. That’s when I play my best.

Q: What is your favorite non-sports “go-to” activity?
A: My favorite non-sports activities are definitely being around my friends, reading fashion magazines/ books, and going shopping!

Q: You could meet one sports figure, living or dead (1) who would it be and (2) what is the first thing you would ask them?
A: Cameron Brink, how can you play basketball and still manage to look put together? When I play basketball I look like a sweaty mess!!

Q: What is your favorite sport and if you could change one thing about your favorite sport, what would it be?
A: My favorite sport is obviously basketball. I wouldn’t change a thing about it, I love the sport the way it is!

Q: If you could eat any food in the world right now, what would it be?
A: I would 100% eat sushi. That is by far my favorite food ever. Gigi Hadid pasta and strawberry Nutella toast come in second and third place!

Q: What is your ideal vacation spot?
A: ideal vacation spot is NYC or Virginia Beach (where I’ve been going for about 14 years)

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: these were all great questions, thank you!
