WARREN, Pa. – Alana Stuart scored 15 points to help the Beaty 8th grade girls basketball team to a 42-14 win over Oil City.
Alyssa Farr scored 10, Lindsay Madigan 8 and Lily Walker and Katie Krogler 4 each, with Jenna Kophazy adding 1.
In the 7th grade game, Beaty blanked Oil City 40-0. Tori Solberg had a strong game on the boards to go along with 14 points, while Meea Irwin scored 10 and Lilly Stanley added six.
In the 7th grade team’s first game against Youngsville, they were 33-10 winners. Twins Leyna and Meea Irwin led the way with 10 points each. JoJo Gray added four points for Beaty, while R. Lucks and K. Cyphart had four each for Youngsville.
