WATTSBURG, Pa. – In a showdown for region titles for both the girls and the boys, the Warren girls beat Seneca 82-68, while the boys fell to the host Bobcats.
“We had it all in the line at Seneca today for the boys and the girls’ teams. Winners today walked away with region championships,” said Warren coach Kevin Dustin. “Our boys fought hard but were outdone by a strong Seneca team. Our girls were in a close one but ended up coming away 82-68 victors. They really stepped up in areas we needed to ensure a team success. Very proud of them for competing and going after it as a team. Congratulations to the girls team on an undefeated season and region championship. We now set our sights on districts and hope to get to the state championships.”
