WARREN, Pa. – Grace Jespersen and Adalynn Foley had three RBIs each to help lead Hillview Towing to a 14-10 win over Calvert Pearson.
Lydia Pannell, Aubrie Benson, Jocelyn Garza and Sadie Watson each added two RBIs. Aaliyah Foley and Chelsea Ongley’s bats were hot going 3-3 at the plate. Adalynn Foley and Aubrie Benson were defensive standouts combining for six outs.
Calvert Pearson’s Ella and Daisy both had great games going 3-3 from the plate and playing outstanding defense.
PINE GROVE AUTO SALES 8, CORNERSTONE LOUNGE 7
Scarlett Entwisle scored the game-winning run as Pine Grove Auto Sales topped Cornerstone Lounge and Family Restaurant 8-7.
Defensively for Pine Grove Auto Sales, Carissa Culbertson had a great play at first base followed by an out at third by Addelynn Geisler and Entwisle. As catcher, Geisler also found herself another out at home plate.
Pine Grove Auto Sales’s batting was led by Elodie Criswell who sent a hard hit into the outfield. Gracie Fanelli and Lainey Kitchell scored twice for the team.
Cornerstone Lounge and Family Restaurant’s batting was lead by Rory Trisket who had a nice hard hit for the team.
Getting on base and scoring twice for the team was Leslie Swanson.
