Youngsville, Warren Volleyball Get Victories


YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Oliva Darling had nine kills and three blocks to help Youngsville to a 3-1 (22-25, 25-11, 25-15, 25-16) win over visiting Tidioute Charter.

Kenzie Olewine added eight kills and 19 digs for the Eagles who also got six kills and 11 digs from Mia Rafalski, and five kills, six digs, and five aces from Molly Hellman.

Allyson Johnson helped lead the Youngsville defense with 17 digs, and Dilyn Moore ran the offense with 27 set assists while adding four aces.


WARREN, Pa. – Halee Mineweaser had 18 set assists, seven digs, and four kills to help Warren past visiting Meadville, 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-22).

“It was nice to get a region win at home in front of a great crowd and flannel panel tonight,” Warren head coach Mike Dolan said. “We played a pretty clean game, minimized our errors, and really got after it on defense.”

Katie Madigan added seven kills and 18 digs for the Dragons with Kylie Fehlman recording six kills and Carly Beers five kills.

Madigan, who was named the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg Player of the Match, talked about the victory.

Also for Warren, Ellee Irwin added 14 digs and two aces, Alexia Bowers had four kills and two blocks, Summer Lucks had 10 digs, and Lindsay Madigan six set assists.

Ella Stewart paced Meadville with 11 kills and seven digs with Elliott Schleicher running the offense with 19 set assists.
